Letizia is a student of Genetic at the University of Paris. She obtained her bachelor degree at the University of Trieste, where she carried out her first internship in Professor Manfioletti lab, focusing her attention on the study of triple negative breast cancer cells. She is actually working on genome editing strategies for the treatment of beta-hemoglobinopathies testing them in erythroid cell lines to evaluate the correction of the pathological phenotype.
